She’s very unhappy that the result of this will be that she can no longer play Alenka in the Into the Greedy Green campaign, but she looks forward to being in other future Quelmar campaigns from her home.

Her dice collection, on an estimate, is worth about $300 (maybe more- my math could be off) by this point and is mostly made up of Chessex dice sets and a few bulk sets, though she has about 4 sets of metal dice and the pride of her collection is her Bifrosting set by Dice Envy (worth $100 for just that set). She also collects the Borealis sets from Chessex and has about 4 of those. She also has 4 of the official dice sets sold by Wizards of the Coast- Baldurs Gate, Laeral Silverhand’s Explorer’s Kit, Rime of the Frostmaiden, and the Wild Beyond the Witchlight Dice and Miscellany sets. The vast majority of her collection is in blues and purples, as those are what are the most pleasing colour combinations to her, though she has the whole rainbow of colours. WIth how many dice she has, it’s amazing how badly she rolls with all of them. She has not rolled consistently well for years, much to her annoyance.

She tends to make well-thought-out characters, though they never act how she planned them to act. She attributes this to the group dynamic and how they all mesh together. She started playing around 5 years ago now and since, has made consistently stranger and stranger characters. She used to only ever play elves but they’ve become boring for her and has made a harpy (re-skinned aarokocra) rogue, centaur fighter, starchild (a homebrew from reddit) druid, warforged sorcerer, and aasimar warlock. Her favourite character she’s made was her bard, Symphony. Symphony was absolutely insane and even had a skull shrine. Because of her entire body being covered whenever she was with people, no one knew what she was in terms of race, though someone did figure it out based on various clues and outside research. Hysterically, in that campaign, her best friend was the lawful good paladin.

There's something about her that draws people in, though what it is, no one knows. She has light lavender skin marred by shining scars that you almost think is writing. Her eyes burn like twin stars, seemingly seeing things through time and space. Her horns are like pillars of light erupting from her head before seemingly solidifying further from her head. She tends towards cool colours and, oddly enough, when she’s in contact with metals for long enough, no matter how small the piece, it turns into a light-blue colored metal called Lightmetal; though it retains the properties of whatever metal it was before.

Personality
She's odd to say the least, but for as strange and foreign as she is, she's also weirdly familiar. Most of the time, she's well composed on the outside, though sometimes her control slips and her eyes dart back and forth and she MUST write. It's for these occasions that she keeps a few blank books on-hand, but if they're not available, she'll take her quill to anything she can write on; walls, the floor, the ceiling if she can reach, furniture, more often than not, she takes her quill to her own skin-- carving the words into her flesh and making herself glow all the brighter.

Were one to open up one of her many filled books, they would see borderline mad scribbling of stories and lines, all out of order and with no coherence even to her. Some passages even seem to be repeated over and over, as if frustrated their story wasn't getting told fast enough. The writings seemingly have no relevance to each other and create no consistent story, though if someone smart enough spent enough time pouring over them, they would see they're parts of different stories and could be connected in the right order with the right details. The language of the writing would also vary from very formal Common, to old slang, to Shakespearian cadence and word choice, though all in her distinct handwriting and lightly glowing with her magic.

History
The heroes saved the realm during the Sundown. The day was saved, all rejoiced... But something was left behind. The Soul Star, left behind where it was abandoned, still attached to the amplification artifacts. No one could have imagined the result of overcharging this dangerous artifact. Over the next five years, laying in the citadel, it would fizzle out and eventually die; dust and smoke slowly billowing out and settling along the ground. Once it died, the mist coalesced and let out a bright light that terrified the city. There, next to the now-burnt-out Soul Star on the Feast of the Moon, lay a brightly shining woman. She knew what she was, but it would take years for her to be able to cope with the circumstances of her existence. She was drawn to Isonhound, which is where she made her way to.

Languages
She can speak Common, Sylvan, and Draconic; though she can read any kind of writing.

Powers and Abilities
The souls that reside inside her fuel her magical abilities and allow her to do things that others cant. She can create magical bottles of ink called Eldritch Ink that can aid in her spellcasting, and appears the same colours as the light that shines from within her (as seen in the above picture). She has also gained proficiency in Arcana and History on account of the numerous powerful and well-travelled souls within her. She also decided to take the Pact of the Tome, though this will also be written in as if it were a normal book should she run out of things to write in.

Attacks and Weapons
She's a warlock. Of COURSE she has Eldritch Blast. I imagine her Eldritch Blast looks like she pulls the magic out of her tome and fires it at whoever or whatever she's aiming at. She has a few daggers and a sickle as well if people get too close to her, as well as leather armour.
The following material contains subclass features for those who accept an eldritch author as their warlock Patron.

A Warlock who trods down the path of their Ghost Writer enjoys themselves a good story and will seek other "characters" to entertain their endless desire for an epic adventuring. They see the journeys of such heroes as one would read a grand quest in an intriguing novel. If the Ghost Writer Warlock believes the tale too stale, he may impose literary hardships and obstacles to liven things up. Ironic to her namesake, she is likewise a reader who detests being bored of a potentially good book.

Eccentric Quirks
While it is often true that most warlocks are forever changed by their Patron in some manner or another, such is especially true for those under the watchful quill of the Ghost Writer. Since the majority of his chosen were already scholars and scribes of questionable clarity, most write off such alterations as inevitable to their already malformed psyche. But to the keen mind and observing eye the influence of this Patron, however insignificant to casual passersby, is far more noticeable.

Bonus Cantrips
At 1st level, you learn the thaumaturgy and vicious mockery cantrips. They count as warlock cantrips for you, but don't count against your number of cantrips known.

Mightier than the Sword
Starting at 1st level, knowledge previously unknown to you are granted without your notice. You gain proficiency in two additional skills, choosing from Arcana, History, Nature, and Religion.

Additionally, your every scribble and jot bends reality in ways not thought possible with a simple quill. During a Long Rest, you may craft a number of Eldritch Ink bottles equal to your proficiency modifier. Eldritch Ink does not register as magical for the purposes of "Detect Magic" and similar effects, but does inexplicably expire shortly after uncorking, or at the start of your next Long Rest.

As an action, you may uncork and use a bottle of Eldritch Ink to write on any flat surface in place of the spell components, provided that the spell does not use consumed materials, or have material components costing 10 GP or more. If the spell takes longer than an action to cast, the writing of the spell still only takes 1 action, but the effects of the spell will only begin after the required amount of time has passed.

Spells with concentration that are cast this way grant you special resistance on keeping your concentration. The DC for all Constitution saves to maintain concentration spells cast with Eldritch Ink becomes 8. However, if the writing or surface is destroyed, the spell cast by this feature ends.

Plot Armor
At 6th level, you dedicate your body as a proper vehicle for a story worthy of your patron. By imbibing a single bottle of Eldritch Ink, tattoos and marks appear across your entire body in incomprehensible words and alphabet. Doing so grants you a bonus to your AC equal to your proficiency modifier.

This feature lasts until the end of your next Long Rest while the strange substance courses through your veins until it is expended. Drinking multiple bottles of Eldritch Ink does not stack. Despite the strange and magical effects ocurring to your body, the extra defenses still do not register to spells such as dispel magic.

A Tale Neverending
Your patron has become so enamored by your deeds and character that it no longer wishes for a story without you in it. At 10th level, you cease aging, cannot die of old age, and you are immune to being magically aged.

Additionally, your bottles of eldritch ink of become indestructible and cannot be destroyed by anything short of a wish spell. If a bottle is removed from your body, it magically returns to your pockets within 1 round. Additionally, if dying while having unused bottles of Eldritch Ink on your person, instead of making a death saving throw, you can expend a use of Eldritch to replicate the effect of a Periapt of Wound Closure, automatically stabilizing you to an unconscious state. You can also use the ink in this way as a reaction to any successful hits on your dying body.

Deus Ex Machina
At 14th level, your tale has become such a favorite of your patron that It will occasionally intervene to keep the story of your life going. The first time you are subjected to an effect that would kill you instantaneously, such as a Power Word Kill or Massive Damage, you instead drop to 1 HP. Truesight while observing this feature reveals a large, wraith-like entity in bright purple tatters looming over you briefly before vanishing.

The creature that was most directly responsible for dropping you to 0 hit points must succeed a Wisdom saving throw (8 + your charisma modifier + your proficiency bonus) or be frightened of you and the location where this feature triggered for 1 min. If the creature is immune to the frightened condition, it instead receives disadvantage on attacks made against you until the end of its next turn from the unsettling circumstances of your revival. These effects occur whether or not the affected creature can see or saw the entity.

Once you use this feature, you can't use it again until you finish 1d4 long rests.

In the CR era, it was called Scranton, the Electric City.

About
Zobeck is broken up into 7 districts: Upper Zobeck, the Grinding District, the Temple District, the Market District, the Mercantile District, the College District, and the Gnomish Ghetto.

Upper Zobeck
Upper Zobeck was entirely dedicated to the living quarters and operating buildings of the Levinkan Dynasty, who have long reigned over Zobeck and the rest of Levinkan. Situated on a hillside that looks over the city, Upper Zobeck included the city archives, a variety of museums, a bell tower, and even its own court house that was only for Levinkan related cases.

Grinding District
The Grinding District was the the craftsman sector, where guilds suchas the glassblowers and woodworkers were quartered. A variety of taverns that catered to the hard workers of the city resided in the Griding District. For a time, it held the only autom producing factory in Quelmar.

Temple District
At its cosmopolitan height, the Temple District held over 20 different places of worship to a variety of gods and domains. However, between 730 and 800 PR, it housed only one church: The megachurch of the Friends of Kragnux. Besides the religious temples, there was at least one non-religious hospital center in the temple district.

Market District
Not to be confused with the merchant's district, the Market District was a center of free enterprise, with no guilds or unions binding any of the marketing that occurred here. The district housed a variety of open spaces to allow vendors, both locally and from abroad, to open up shop. There were few rules on what could and couldn't be sold, and the success of the market district minimized the scale and danger of Zobeck's black market.

Mercantile District
A center for more "sophisticated" merchants, the Mercantile District housed endless rows of shops, which typically doubled as housing for their shopkeepers. The various artistry guilds such as the tapestry weavers and the Zobeck leatherworkers held large centers of union politics that operated in the mercantile district. At the end of the PR era, Dipuc's Shop of Love could be found here.

College District
The College District held not just academic and bardic colleges, but also pop-up educations establishments that sought to teach whatever was 'all the rage' at the time. Examples of pop up institutions included sword swallowing schools, medicinal herb societies, and at one point even a name-reading convocation. The college district also held the largest courthouse in Zobeck.

Gnomish Ghetto
Not a traditional ghetto, the Gnomish Ghetto was specifically built to gnomish proportions and provided utmost quality care for any visiting or residing gnomes in Zobeck. Following in the footsteps of the Levinkan, many gnomes flocked to Zobeck in the belief that they too could learn to be a person of great power. Some gnomes revered the Levinkan, and others simply wanted to see if he really existed. The large populations of gnomes and gnomish traditions that moved into the city over many centuries led to this large district catering to the Gnomes.

History
At the end of the PR era, Zobeck suffered extensive structural and population losses, during its rebuilding during the CR era, the city was rechristened as Scranton.

Notable Locations
The Church of Kragnux
Over the course of several decades in the 700s PR, properties in Zobeck's temple district were purchased and demolished for the ever expanding headquarters of a religion calling themselves The Friends of Kragnux, who would eventually become the only religion with a sizeable church in the whole city. This reign lasted until the early 790s PR when their savior Kragnux was banished, and worship of Bahamut became fashionable again.

After the destruction of the church in the obliteration of Ith, the Soul Star was abandoned in the main section of the church with all the amplifiers still attached. Over the next 5 years, it would slowly fizzle out before the dust and mist coalesced with a bright flash of light into Alenka.

The Zobeck Art Gallery (ZAG)
Established at the end of the PR era in the year 1247, the ZAG was founded by Reese Lackmann, who tragically died the same day his museum was destroyed. It held The Brewtiful Bean, a café with dangerously delicious chocolate croissants, that opened in a new location after the destruction of the ZAG.

Other locations circa 1250 PR are listed in the Realmtrotter's Guide to Zobeck.

Greedy Green began in January 2022, with an expected run time of about 2 years (based on the length and duration of the previous community campaigns).

About
It has been 30 years since The Sundown, and the realm finds itself once again facing endless waves of Dragons, who have all been long released from their prison island of Kiston. While the realm as a whole struggles to come together to face its new common enemy, smaller towns, hamlets, and cities now face a pandemic of robberies.

After centuries of having nothing good to horde, Dragons everywhere begin again---building hordes of treasures, weapons, materials, gems, books, and all other manner of collectibles.

And in this new world, only those brave enough to call themselves Heroes are willing to track down the dens all over Isonhound and recover this loot, as they head....into the Greedy Green.
* Buckler Buffer
** Buckler Buffers were tin shields blessed with defensive magics. As a reaction, the wielder can channel the shield's defense, negating one spell which the wielder was going to be the target of (does not apply to Area of Effect spells). This shatters the Buckler Buffer.
** When not being used to block spells, the Buckler functions as a normal shield.

C
* Chronosphere
** An artifact created by Archmage Nimz to capture moments in time and view them through a crystal ball at a later point.
** Invented by Professor Preicept Commutavi and discovered by The Oathwielders, this pacifist cloak grants invisibility to it's user, but smells incredibly bad, leading to anyone nearby to suspect there is a creature.
**The Cloak was stolen by The Rattzias during their battle at sea, and when the Rattzias joined The Sheath, the cloak once made its final appearance, helping them ambush the OathWielders one last time.
** Being a pacifist cloak, if any attack or dangerous action is taken while wearing the cloak, it becomes visible again.
*Sailor's Cloak of Dryness
**Red was one famous adventurer who loved their cloak of dryness.
* Crown of the Amusan Empyrosis
** A legendary artifact, said to allow its wielder to control the maga and lava deep below Amusa, causing firey destruction and volcanoes to emerge anywhere with a mere thought.
** When worn, the crown communicates with the wielder under the name "Yro". The crown always work in a self-defensive manner, ensuring that it stays out of the public eye. Typical behavior includes manipulation and murder of unloyal subjects.
** One of four primordial artifacts.
*Contract of Nepthas

* Draconic Soul Cell
** Draconic Soul Cells were ancient artifacts of The Holy War which were designed to house a Dragon's soul, and trick the soul into living inside an inert stone facade. During the war, dragonborn mages could reincarnate or resurrect a once great wyrm, but if the Dragon's soul was contained in a soul cell, it would be trapped in eternal limbo, and resurrection would be impossible.
** Some Draconic Soul Cells were used as prisons, and contained amulets or gems that could be activated to release the Dragon from the cell.
** Ith is one notable dragon who was imprisoned in a soul cell. His release by Thokmay would require the realm to work together and find another Soul Cell old enough and powerful enough to contain Ith's spirit. This was accomplished by The Best Around when they stole a Soul Cell in Tawarakami. It would then be used in The Sundown to destroy Ith.
*Dryad Heart
**When equipped, allows its holder to cast Druidcraft at will, and can be consumed as a goodberry. Through alchemy tools, an alchemist can work the heart into a potion of Animal Friendship.

E
* Eyes of the Hawk Potion
** This potion granted magical darkvision (functions much like a warlock's Devil's sight) for 10 minutes.
**Developed by Blumenthal, Dahlia, and the Dandy Lions in the mid 400s PR

F
* Fearmones
** Fearmones are a special incense that induces a catatonic state in those who inhale it. Targets who are subjected to fearmones receive almost nightmare-like scenarios in their heads that typically revolve around what that target wants or fears in life.
** Fearmones were used by the Troverth Dynasty against their enemies. They were the ultimate interrogation tool, and had the benefit of also neutralizing targets.

G
* Gauntlet of Gate
** Created by Archmage Rurik using resonant magic, the Guantlet of Gate could be wielded and then used to pick up an item or artifact of great importance. The Gauntlet would channel the energies of the item and open a portal to where similar energies in the realm could be detected.
** This was used to great effect by holding one Arm of Sin to locate the others.
*Gulthias Flower
**The Gulthias Flower has a magical aura that lures and attracts blighted plants.

H
* Hammer of Mending
** An innocent looking hammer that can cast Mending on an item by striking it hard with a blow of the hammer. The blow does not damage the item, instead magically fixing any small damage.
*Handshaking Haversack
**A Handy Haversack, but can link several bags to the same internal demiplane.
*Heart of Stone
**A special magical item used by followers of Grumbar
* Heraldic Shield of Marquis de Stasch
** A magical artifact once owned by Anema E. Core that allows anyone attuned to it to use their Charisma as a measure of their armor class in place of their dexterity, but only if the user is wearing 1000 GP worth of jewelry and clothing. If the user wears less than that, the garments and accessories burst into flame.

L
* Lens of Destiny
** The Lens of Destiny was a projection device for turning memories into vivid passages of sight and sound. In essence, it was a powerful artifact meant to allow others to witness events from another creature's mind. However, the power of the lens is dangerous, and a creature projecting a memory runs the risk of never waking up from the dream-state it enters for projection.
** The Lens was kept in the horde of the bronze dragon Tenorixion for years, until it was pulled out of the horde and used to show the end of the War of Essence, teaching the many heroes of the realm the backstory of The Paladin.

M
* Moonflower
**A special alchemical ingredient with close ties to the curse of lycanthropy.
*Mote of Elemental Earth
** This mote comes from the Elemental Plane of Earth and when used on the Material Plane, can be thrown on the ground to function as a casting of Grease. This destroys the mote.

N
* Nautilus Orb
** A powerful energy source drawing from the chaotic energies of the Far Realm, Nautilus Orbs are typically used by Mind Flayers for a variety of reasons, including communication, reconnaissance, and manipulation. Powerful harnesses of psionic energy, a Nautilus Orb can subtly push creatures to follow the will of the Flayers, infecting their dreams and nightmares with haunting visions, or by communicating in strange voices at the back of a creature's head.
** Juris was a half-gith targeted by a Nautilus Orb, and used as a pawn to lead the Illithid to Nymphsview.

O
* Oil of Malice
** A slow acting poison that activates each night as the infected sleeps, causing a level of exhaustion for 7 consecutive days until the target drops from fatigue. It was employed by Killis Goodman during his first attempt at capturing Sick of this Shit.
* Orb of the Pterish Gales
** A legendary artifact, said to allow its wielder to control the winds above Pteris, changing their speeds and directions at will.
** One of four primordial artifacts.

R
* Resonating Rock
*Ring of Clairsentience
** A reward granted to the chronomancer Blue by his unknown patron. It allows its user to open a small psionic "Window" into the past which is non intractable, allowing its user to see a limited scope of events that occurred in the past of a place or object.
* Ring of Marquee
** A ring that contains a demiplane of rest.
* Ring of Second Chances
** If you permanently die while wearing the ring, it casts Revivify upon death and becomes instantly mundane.
*Rod of the Ark
**A special variant of the Rod of Security that belonged to the catfolk Jedit. Unlike the normal Rod of Security, the Rod of the Ark contains a specifically forested paradise, which can supply and sustain nearly 200 animals indefinitely. Intelligent creatures enter and exit the demiplane as normal, but beasts and other unintelligent creatures are never kicked out unwillingly.
S
*Sandwich of Regeneration
**If this sandwich is not fully devoured, it regenerates. Don't eat it all!
*Seed of Amnesia
** Erases all memory of the day's events from anyone who ingests the seed. Two seeds, a week. Three seeds, a month.

* Soul Star
** The Soul Star was a star shaped magical container containing a demiplane of similar makeup as the ethereal plane. When used, or when improperly handled, the Soul Star can claim the souls of nearby creatures and keep them captive inside its massive demiplane, containing thousands of souls at once.
** Souls in the Soul Star can be retrieved with castings of "Dispel Magic"
** The Soul Star was used by The Best Around during The Sundown to destroy Ith.
**Was left in the citadel after The Best Around used it to destroy Ith, where, as a result of overcharging it, it burnt out and gave birth to the first (and possibly only) Starchild
* Spirit Staff of Naven
** Contained the spirit of an old king named Naven, who was able to command and control whoever wielded the staff, would take over a Kobold later to become The Mountain King.
** When commanded by Naven, the staff wielder could also expand the zone of influence and give commands to other feeble-minded creatures nearby.
** The Spirit Staff was used by The Best Around during The Sundown to destroy Ith.
* Staff of Noesis
** The Staff of Noesis was held within a secret chamber in Wyvern Mountain, discovered by Darya and later handed over to the warforged colony known as The Sky Net.
** The Staff of Noesis imbues lost souls who are stuck wandering the Astral Plane into inanimate objects. This allows something as mundane as a chair to become a walking talking animated object, imbued with whatever soul the staff has stolen.
** The Staff of Noesis was used by The Best Around during The Sundown to destroy Ith.
* Staff of the Osugborn Marsh
** This legendary staff of ancient folklore was said to allow its wielder to easily command the earth of Osugbo, bending it with their will, creating mountains, volcanoes, caverns, and all other worldly features with a mere thought.
** One of four primordial artifacts.

T
* Truth Serum
** Essentially a "Potion of Zone of Truth" with a Constitution save of DC of 18.

W
* Wand of the Feytouched Spout
** Created by Istishia, the wand is a fabled artifact, mentioned mostly in ancient folklore. It is rumored that anyone who is strong enough to wield the wand can command the oceans around Isonhound, redirecting, evaporating, or freezing them through willpower alone.
** One of four primordial artifacts
* Wand of Orebliteration
** A stone-like wand that removes creatures and objects of stone from existence. By banishing stonework to a non-existent plane, the items are removed from all of reality.
** Typically only hold one or a few charges, and can only effect up to 20 square feet of stonework.
** A wand of Orebliteration was donated by The Levinkan and used by The Best Around during The Sundown to destroy Ith.
* Wand of Ursling
** A black wand. 7.5 inches in length. 2.5 inches from hilt to end of handle. The wand was found, by Wilhelm Folkel the Scrate, on the body of a deceased wizard in a sirens lair located under the Baleah Crossing.
** A magical summoning wand linked to the Feywild, the wand conjures up small bear-like creatures known as Ursanids and psionically links them to follow the commands of the rod's wielder. However, if the spellcaster is not of a fey race, it can be difficult to successfully conjure an ursanid, and many non-fey (including Stumblebum) find themselves struggling to make the rod work consistently.
* Waterskin of Inexplicable Upgrading
** Turns water to wine, wine to brandy, brandy to spirits, spirits to dwarven ale, and anything else to an alcoholic substance so potent it is classified as a poison

PAGENAME is a Starchild Ghost Writer Warlock, who's travelled far to be a part of this journey

Physical Appearance
There's something about her that draws people in, though what it is, no one knows. She has light lavender skin marred by shining scars that you almost think is writing. Her eyes burn like twin stars, seemingly seeing things through time and space. Her horns are like pillars of light erupting from her head before seemingly solidifying further from her head.

There, next to the now-burnt-out Soul Star, lay a brightly shining woman.

Ghost Writer
Warlock Otherworldly Patron

Expanded Spell List
The Ghost Writer patron grants you a base number of abilities. The following spells are added to the warlock spell list for you.
|}

There, next to the now-burnt-out Soul Star, lay a brightly shining woman. She knew what she was, but it would take years for her to be able to cope with the circumstances of her existence. She was drawn to Isonhound, which is where she made her way to.
