After Bahamut's death, the remaining dragon gods are reeling from the power vacuum and Evil gains ground in the War of Many Names. Sensing the need for a tactical regroup, two similarly-colored draconic deities, [[Durzibethinus]] and [[Halcyone]], take up residence within Breme to strategically oppose [[Tiamat]]'s forces in Quelmar's northwest. They move their main houses of worship to ancestral lands, maintain an alliance with Krampus, and spend a chapter of Quelmar's history housing various forces of Good as they recover.

== How Breme Changes ==
Throughout the Emerald Empire's existence, Breme becomes a region of meteorological calm, placid in its weather and able to sustain crops in regions blessed by the resident gods. The snow elves' culture expands as they experience a varied diet, which ushers in a cultural renaissance for the peoples who have occupied Breme for centuries.

This is one of Breme's most devout periods as well, which is unsurprising. It is also staking a claim for Good in the Realm War; thus the continent is highly militant and vigilant throughout this period. Roads are constructed, bunkers are built, prayers are recited and battles are fought. Overall during this period, good endures, but the harshness of the landscape makes for a dangerous existence, particularly when Tiamat's forces seek out war refugees or other folk seeking shelter.

Bromances become very popular, whether in the guise of "blood brothers" or "ride-or-dies" or "Co-dependencies", mimicking the divine relationship at the core of the empire. "I'll be fire to toast your durian" is a popular phrase.

			<div class="mw-collapsible mw-collapsed">After having a nightmare about being overtaken by Wyrm-taint, Yuzuki left the house early with her sister/cousin Shiori with the goal of helping the Inari Palm kitsune purify and rebuild their desecrated moon bridge. Doing this would potentially allow Yuzuki to have an easy way of moving between her home in Quapan and the West Woods in Quelmerica with the rest of her pack. Shiori took her to their neighborhood’s “Shrine Hill” and they entered the Umbra at a shrine dedicated to the fox goddess Inari Ōkami. They were greeted at the Palm of Inari temple by Kuro-sama, the temple’s master of assassination. He still seemed to have anger at the Wyrm-taint Yuzuki bore as the result of her Crone’s Curse, but he wasn’t actually hostile towards her.

			To prepare for the ritual to reconstruct the moon bridge, Yuzuki underwent a cleansing rite performed by Shiori and another kitsune named Yuki. After the rite, a child kitsune named Haruka talked with Yuzuki about the difference between strength and stubbornness. Then, Yuki took Yuzuki into the temple basement to pray before a shrine dedicated to the temple spirit. All too soon, it was time to perform the ritual. Yuzuki and the others gathered behind the temple where the Umbral spirit wilds had been suffused with darkness by Laughing Tricksters.

			Surprisingly, Kuro-sama had agreed to Shiori’s request for Yuzuki to be the one to directly assist her with rebuilding the moon bridge. With his permission, Shiori began the rite with Yuzuki channeling her own spiritual power into her. It was a long and arduous process, during which there was plenty of interference from Laughing Tricksters in the dark, but Shiori and Yuzuki eventually succeeded.</div>

			* Enrik, Yuki, [[Clover Softpaw\|Clover]], [[Jollyfist Burnale\|Jollyfist]], [[Sameera]], and [[Maverick]] ventured to [[Ellwick]], and the ascending [[Burnale Clan\|Burnale]] mountains to assist in finding and slaying the remaining Frost Giants serving Saurus. The party took off from the main caravan to search inside the mountains for the hiding [[Burnale Clan\|Burnale]] clan, trapped inside by a landslide. After reminiscing about Enrik's time living in Ellwick, the party entered the mountain, on a long dungeon crawl. The party first found an active magma pit, to which Sameera and Enrik suffered a sudden onset of SLOBS, and fell in. Enrik, blessed by [[Kossuth]], was unharmed, but Sameera was dying quickly. The others attempted to save her, before [[Kossuth]] and [[Grumbar]] began fighting over her, and Grumbar removed her from the magma via a pillar of stone. Yuki then pulled Enrik out of the soothing magma, and they ventured on.

			* Yuki learned, from speaking with a chipmunk, that the party had been displaced in time, having travelled 10 years into the future, the moment they entered the cavern, and learned of the destruction of Quelmar, and the return of the [[Bhéara\|Bhearrah]], through the little rodent's memory and imagination. This was supported by Jollyfist finding a Burnale child in the council chamber, who should by all accounts be a little over a year old, but was actually at least 10 years old.

			* Enrik soon found a room with no entrance, and Maverick could detect life inside, so Enrik smashed the wall in, and found the body of [[Bimpnottin]], his halfling friend, cradling a Heart of Obsidian. Enrik divulged his grief, and was comforted by Maverick, and brought the Heart with him, using it's pulse as a compass to navigate the Dwarven City. The pulse lead the party to an active forge, and finds the remnants of Karavox, an ancient relic of time, on the table, before a booming, otherwordly presence, attacked the party with skeletal pillars, demanding their names. The party obliged, and was told by the voice that Karavox needed to be reforged to fix the displacement, and save the world. Enrik and Jollyfist attempted to reforge the axe through natural means, but were unsuccessful, and had to resort to following the voices demands. One person must "give up their space" and another "give up their time." Enrik and Yuki, bonded pair that they are, estranged from their worlds, with nowhere to go but each other's friendship, agreed. Enrik gave his space, and Yuki her time. Upon touching the Obsidian Heart, the two were blinked from time, travelling centuries and centuries backwards, feeling the tectonic plates moving below them. Through their sacrifice, Karavox was reforged, and the displacement in the mountain fixed. Jollyfist then took the axe, and in Enrik and Yuki's name, vowed to slay the Bhearrah, and sever her from existence.
			* Before leaving, Jollyfist, the boy, and Sameera, now a chosen of Grumbar, opened the path to The Garden, the place all the surviving Burnale dwarves had been living. As it turns out, they caused the landslide that trapped them, to keep the [[Blowt]] out. Over the last two years, they had made a beautiful oasis for themselves inside the mountain, but now that the Freeze is over, they were happy to venture out of the world, but only after throwing a massive party for Jollyfist's return.

			* 110 years later, with the events of the Freeze way past solved, Enrik met an elderly Sameera on the mountaintop of the Burnale Mountains. Sameera, an artist of the elements, and Enrik, an Eye of Chronepsis. The two reflected on their lives, and Enrik apologized for not giving Sameera the chance to say goodbye, to which Sameera finally gave Enrik the hug she had promised to him, over a century ago. The two spent Sameera's remaining moments of life sitting on the mountain's edge, watching the sun, as Sameera passed in her sleep. Once Sameera was gone, Yuki made herself known, not an Eye, but a Time-Traveller, and the two buried Sameera under her Flame-Painted mural, and hallowed her grave with a blessing of nature from Yuki, channeled through one of Enrik's old crutches, before the two returned to the Creation.

			* After making the deal to reforge Karavox, Enrik and Yuki reappear 8 months after the Siege of Ravel in the storage closet of the Ravel Sanguine Clinic, where [[Gale]] and [[Takeshi]] are currently researching and treating SLOBS. Enrik and Yuki attempt to explain what they did, but are shortly flung through time uncontrollably to the future Yuki saw, a blue and red hell scape, where they meet two of the few remaining survivors, Eyepatch [[Clover Softpaw\|Clover]] and Eyepatch [[Jaxzo'Ilan\|Waebreena]], who are taking shelter in a small dome of purification, being upheld by Giant [[Cranston]], wielding all of Hafgan's power as well as both [[Gohei]]'s. Both Clover and Waebreena thought all four of our time travelers were dead, Enrik and Yuki from Karavox, and Gale and Takeshi from the hell they live in. The party is then taken on a chaotic and mostly uncontrolled ride through time, where they inevitably are stopped by an Eye of Chronepsis, Malakai [[Zachariah\|Thorne]] who informs them of their crimes against time, but also gives them advice. He tells Enrik and Yuki of Null, the being who deceived them into repairing Karavox, calling the two "Nullen", tells the group try as they may, but the [[Quelmar Timeline\|timeline]] ends in 469PR, but gives them advice on how to safely travel through time should they wish to try and change things. Before they go, Thorne tells Enrik they will meet again, and Enrik will kill Thorne, and then disappears.

			* Using their now limited control of time the party learn of about the Bhearah's Origin's, relive trauma of their past lives, and attempt to stop the world from becoming the 11th Layer of Hell. During the journey, the party discovers Yuki controls the time they go to, and Enrik controls the place. They use this knowledge to direct them to specific places to better the future, while also ensuring the time loop they've been stuck in does not fracture. Major events include: Meeting Bimpnottin at the Siege of Ellwick and removing him from time to ensure he ends up in Mount Burnale for Enrik to find in the "past", reliving the Slaughter of the Rubies with Takeshi and stealing [[System Agnostic/Episode 2.7: Karavox Reforged\|Karavox]] from time, dulling Karavox to hopefully prevent the severing of everyone connected to Saurus, watching the god of the animalfolk Brigid (the Bhearrah) be banished to Orbis and then consumed by the Giant Eldritch Slug seen during The MegaGame!, and ending with Enrik returning to the past to save [[Deerward]] and his daughter from their demises, killing Thorne in the process and taking Thorne's power for himself, but saving his loved ones from their untimely fates, and certifably "messing up the timeline."

			* Mevvit Ashwing (known as Four) receives a medal from the University of Xyrneiros for his magical contribution on ley lines, achieving his dream of lasting throughout time in academia. Red and Quiver watch as Four/Mevvit ascends; one fewer number in the Countdown. Three pops up and disperses the tension. Quiver receives an interesting note....
			* The heroes go track down a few Blowt that are trying to find other bodies to stay in to prevent their inevitable ascension. Kip, the rapscallion, is playing both sides and hiding his ghost form in rocks. Thanks to some help from some NPCs and such, the Blowt are dealt with and Kip comes to hang out around Manquel.
			* Red goes to see the Burrow, where his family lives. His mom is okay, but his "dad" seems a little bit off.... (he's actually a Blowt faking it). Red has a kaiju penguin egg, left behind by Webber, that he's trying to hatch safely, and he ponders it as he wanders alone. The note is getting passed around....
			* On a snowy night, Kip, Quiver, and Nearlander are chatting about Nearlander's other egg, which is the dragon egg he's also desperate to hatch. Something's wrong; the egg feels really weird on the inside. When the heroes tap into its energies, both eggs explode in a burst of ''red Harr'', the same destructive substance the Bearah wields, but a fiery version rather than ice. This is clearly skulduggerous, and ehe talk turns to what to do with Two, as she's become more aloof and controlling, and something's different from the other numbers.

			Torin will never be seen as a person to be left alone. The people in Club Half-Fool on Varuvi’s left moon don’t see him under the flashing ecstasy of sweat and blown pupils. Or, they see him, remember Hell’s Sister, and walk away in faithful solemnity. Or, they see him, and have to ask about everything other than the revolution so he knows they’re an active listener (maybe then he’ll talk about his cascade). He holds a crystalline tumbler of something like whiskey to his lips and doesn’t sip.

			A twenty-something blond asks if he’s ever flown faster than he did with Hellfriede. At least they aren’t walking their tongue in circles by talking about star signs anymore. “You haven’t had a pilot since Hellfriede, right?” No, with their bitten lip and the bitten fingernails tapping on their arm, they think they’ve pretended enough to earn something real.

			Torin sniffs the liquid in the tumbler. It smells like it’s meant to make people ask for refills. “I don’t see the need.” He could probably answer most questions with those words and pretend to be a glitching AI if they didn’t quite make sense. The thought makes him huff a laugh so small it goes unnoticed.

			“Would you ever let someone be your pilot again? If you thought you could be better with them, I mean.” The person, who didn’t actually give their name, looks at him like they’re sharing a conspiracy. Like someone other than Hellfriede could have liberated Varuvi.

			He has brief thoughts of the simplicity of exploding mech chassis and aerial repositioning. Second by second, for the first four hours at least, his side of the revolution was a simple thing. Not easy, but ultimately well within the nature of the Prime he was copied from. “Would you kill someone again if you thought you could do it with more meaning?”

			The questioner takes a step back, like they’ve suddenly realized they’re on the edge of Torin’s personal space. They bump into one of the other people crowded around Torin. “What?”

			“You can hear. You must be able to since you enjoy your own voice so much. I assume you’re doing this so you have an excuse to hear yourself and not because you think essentially asking a stranger if he wants to be better at killing people is intelligent conversation.”

			The mood among Torin’s onlookers dies faster than a pilot in a locked cockpit hitting the ground at terminal velocity. He walks away and they part for him like it’s their last act of good faith. Torin needs to find a reason to be here.

			Someone collides with him as penance for intentionally letting his thoughts run faster than his eyes. Torin shoves whoever it is off him. His drink spills. Torin might curse if he cared. That should be the end of it.

			“You’re less coordinated than people make you out to be.” The voice is soft. Too soft to be genuine. Torin bothers to look this new person in the face and is met with a twink sporting wide brown doe eyes that also can’t be sincere.

			Torin huffs. “And you’re as oblivious as you look.”

			The opposing twink looks him up and down. His displeased frown curls into something worse. “And you look like you’re in mourning.” Torin’s eye twitches. “Tell me, are you grieving the loss of your relevance, Torin?”

			“Why do you sound like a twink who needs to drop an octave? Should I go find your Daddy for you?” Torin snaps.

			“Hah! Find one for yourself first.”

			Someone passing trips forward and spills a tray of drinks over both of them. The mix of spilt liquids shimmers under the club lights. They’re covered in a rainbow cascade. Torin doesn’t know what specific look he directs at the woman responsible for ruining his outfit, but she leaves the scene like she’s on fire. Torin hasn’t found a reason to be here. That should be the end of it.

			He and the other guy end up in the same bathroom because it’s convenient.

			“There’s no saving these,” Torin mutters, looking down at his party-flavored clothes.

			“Almost like how there’s no saving you from drowning in sycophants. Must be nice.”

			Torin glares into the mirror. “Is your life so empty that you had to watch me just to give yourself something to do?”

			“I wanted to talk to you. Possibly an idiotic task, I know.”

			“Do you actually need something or are you just another sycophant?” Torin splashes water on his face. When he looks up, the man is staring at him. “What?”

			“… What’s wrong with you?” He asks.

			Torin’s hands clench like they’re grabbing a pale throat. “I think you should ask that question to the mirror.”

			“You let yourself be surrounded by humans just so you can indulge them instead of it being the other way around.” The man sounds disgusted. “Who killed your ego?”

			Torin laughs again. It’s much louder this time. He doesn’t stop laughing. Instead, his artificial veins go cold and reality breaks behind him. Less than a microsecond passes before Torin has this twink slammed into the bathroom wall. “No one.” Torin hisses less than an inch from his face. “Trust me, my ego hasn’t gone anywhere.”

			The man looks up at Torin with that same disdainful tint to his sweet eyes and hateful tilt to his plump mouth. Then, he smiles. It’s worse than anything that came before.

			“… Who do you think you are?” Torin asks. It isn’t rhetorical.

			“Osiris obviously.”

			And then he kisses him.

			Torin doesn’t kiss Osiris like a worshipper. He’d never worship anyone, especially not the twink who chokes when Torin grabs his waist and shoves him further back into the wall. He’d never worship anyone, especially not the man with the sheer audacity to twist Torin around and switch their positions. He’d never worship anyone, especially not the Orisis who kisses him like an act of divinity.

			That really should be the end of it.

			Instead, Torin takes Osiris to the Twin Moon Hotel He spends the rest of his existence being forced to acknowledge that he’s capable of making questionable decisions.
