This turned out to be a large [[human]] man dressed in the regalia of a [[paladin]], too clean to have been part of today's combat. This was almost certainly one of the crusaders against dragonborn and the other draconic races. Many of draconic heritage had sided with [[Tiamat]] during the [[Holy War]] several centuries earlier, and they were consequently assumed again to be a threat now that several [[dragons]] had turned out to still be active in Quelmar and working to free their brethren from magical imprisonment on the island of [[Kiston]].
