			To many, the Blowt is a disease. A cold blue essence that takes over the living and dead alike, leaving those possessed to lash out in rage and scream “ —-- “. However, to those who have ventured into Orbis, the Blowt is much more complex than that.

			In simple terms, the Blowt is an undead phenomenon where the souls of the vengeful dead possess the bodies touched by Haar, or the naturally occurring essence of wrongful death. “Blowt” manifests in sickly blue ice where a lot of Haar accumulates for various reasons. 			The term Blowt also refers to the act of possession. To be “Blowted” is to be possessed by a vengeful spirit, often a frost giant who was Corpse-Stitched and cast aside after the Human - Animal folk war. Though recently more and more souls who have died wrongful deaths during and after The Freeze come back to the world of the living seeking to possess those that come in contact with concentrated amounts of Blowt.*2

			Thanks to the Orbis expedition, we have learned that the origin of the Blowt is in fact Orbis. An afterlife for the wrongfully deceased created for (by?) the original Frost Giants who were Corpse-Stitched during the war. After the war was over, the Corpse-Stitched Giants were unable to go to an afterlife as they were multiple lives in one body.*3 Thus, they went to (made?) Orbis as no other afterlife would take them. There they stewed in their misery, turning their abandonment into hatred and vengeance.

	The Blowt as a race have taken up residence in the city of Ravel, have taken over Tusgrer, and a hole in the Ocean ice that leads to the Otherworld lies between the two cities.
