			During [[The Umbral Flood]], the city did not fall to the shadows, as there was secretly an [[Amethyst Dragon]] living in the city, who used their own gem powers to negate and push away the [[Emerald Dragon]]'s shadows. However the cost of the power was immense, and caused gravitational anomalies all over the city, ripping buildings and chunks of buildings into the ground, hovering in mid air.
