In an act of sacrificed, Aloysius Tempest merged with the ship's intelligence, [[The Overmind]], in order to seal Kavanmort and themselves in stasis inside the ship.

			Kavanmort still stuck in stasis would be rediscovered by members of [[The Tempest Brothers Expeditionary Company]] when they were exploring the Lost Hoard. When the ship was reactivated by the rogue [[Mind Flayer]] [[Myxlixinal]], Kavanmort was freed and declared his war against Amusa renewed. The company managed to hold the dragon back long enough to where it was killed when the ship was torn apart in a planar rift.
