	In was in Levinkan's royal court that Two heard a fragment of prophecy, warning of a coming Freeze of the great Quelmar Ocean. Two took the gnomish diviners at their word, seeking a way to improve upon magic she had discovered in her travels to prevent disaster. She found a retired professor from the [[University of Xyrneiros]] and an [[aarakocra]] to aid in her goal, and found between the three of them a location in south Osugbo where ley lines would provide a swell of energy to ensure their success.

			It was after years of scouring Quelmar for the right conjuring ritual that May located the text for the Anchoring of the Breeze deep in the sands of Pteris. She also found a list of names that were marked “Forbidden”, one of which was the destructive elemental spirit the Paladin had in mind. From there, May tapped her network of spies for a suitable time and place to cast the Anchoring of the Breeze. She would use the cover of a scrap of Prophecy from Levinkan which warned of an oncoming Freeze, locate a proper place to cast the Anchoring of the Breeze, and control the Great Flame Spirit with the Taurus Binding. The stupid aarakocra she’d hoodwinked years before would make an excellent vessel, and the decrepit drakkotaur professor from [[University of Xyrneiros\|Xyrneiros]] would be sure to help a young mage on the rise! After her helper [[Dark Silvio\|Silvio]] secured a location outside of Manquel, May could taste victory. She could already imagine the smile on the Paladin’s face as Quelmar burned to ash– all because of her!

Two recognized a rare skin blemish upon the girl's skin marking her as a null, likely linked from a Balabag family. It was agony for Two to watch her best laid plans go so awry, but the farm girl's curiosity was unstoppable - and then the antimagic blood ripped the gossamer threads of the ritual apart. Two delved deeply inward, hoping to maintain some sense of self... and now her eyes are open again.

			What happened, exactly? May remains unsure. The summoning circle had been carefully laid at the aarakocra’s feet to draw the spirit into his body. Both masters of magic would chant their respective chants. The bodyguards, one dumb half-elf and one dumber gnome, would keep any passerby at bay. But that professor – at the last possible moment she switched names! Halfway through the ritual May realized it – what was the second entity being chanted? Once she discerned the name, May almost laughed – adding fire to fire would help Quelmar burn even faster! It was all playing into her hands, but then an unexpected noise. A local farm girl, drawn by the chanting and strange lights, walked towards them with her crooked teeth and gaping mouth. May recognized the warping of magic first; the farm girl was a null, likely descended from a [[Balabag]] family with antimagic in their blood. Under these constraints, she’d tear the combined rituals apart and ruin the Paladin’s plans! Furious and vexed, May pivoted with the grace of a panther. She understood the magic would be warped, shut her eyes, and let her thoughts turn inward. She didn’t know how this would go wrong, but something inexplicable would happen. May knew her will was strongest, and her only goal was to take control of whatever vessel emerged. She would see Chi’s vision come true, no matter what.
