In the chaos, the party find [[the Beast of the Badlands]] attempting an escape as well, having been captured and imprisoned by the [[Pit Fiend]] [[Bel]] and Bel's new right hand, the [[Hill Giant]] [[Angrboda]]. He shares that the archduchess of Duumal, Elytria, had been captured by Bel, and that he was soon going to execute her and claim control of the layer.

			Taking the opportunity, the party raids the prison's armory before getting attacked by an Iron Devil, who instructs them to go and find the devil Belphagor if they want to escape Dis. The party escapes Ironfell Prison and begins to sneak through the back alleyways of Dis. as they do, they hear the booming voice of Dis' ruler, the Iron Lord Dispater, who puts the city of lockdown and demands the party's capture. As they race to the Garden of Pleasures for safety, they are ambushed by the giants Stratia and Waord who seem to want to destroy Ratatrosk. The party manages to defend their new demon friend and slay Waord before driving off Stratia. From Waord's corpse, they acquire a strange [[Stone Rune\|stone giant rune]].

As the party battles Onath in the streets of Dis, [[Modron\|Modrons]] from the Plane of Mechanus arrive to arrest Aivan, along with a Modron officer named [[Roberta]], a former friend of Aivan. Fighting hard, the party manages to trick the Modrons back to Mechanus and destroy Onath. The party then looks to the Iron Tower to see a massive explosion. Flying out of the tower in pitch battle is the archmage apprentice Ranzos fighting back the giants Stratia and Waord.

He also shares that he has learned that Dispater is building an army to invade the Material Plane in order to harvest new souls, and that this army was being built by a [[devil]] named [[Belphagor]]. Traveling with them as well is a strange red [[dragonborn]] who strikes up a conversation with a member of the party, Dina. Aivan encounters a strange devil mechanic named Belphagor who it turns out is the one who designed Aivan. Belphagor quickly figures out who Aivan really is and becomes intrigued. When Aivan refuses to go with Belphagor back to Belphagor's factory, the Blisterworks, Belphagor contacts Mechanus to inform them of the location of their run away construct, Aivan.

			Eventually a quiet settles across the archdevils as the Lord of iron, Dispater enters the chambers along with his son Balgoor. Dispater thanks his guests for attending before getting down to business about his plans to invade the Material Plane. Dispater unveils the newest creation of Belphagor, the Iron Devil, an infernal construct that can steal mortal sols and turn them into new Iron Devils. Taking this opportunity, the party distracts Balgoor and steals the key to Ironfell Prison from around his neck.

After safely landing on the ground, the party enter into the city, passing by the city gate's guardian, a massive Iron Medusa.After passing through, the party discovers another branch of the magic store Mammart, run by an aspect of the [[Archdevil]] [[Mammon]]. Mammon congratulates the party on safely arriving is Dis and as a show of kindness gifts them two-day tickets for [[the Gardens of Pleasure]], the Hells' premiere house of gambling, relaxation, and pleasures of all kind.

			Arriving at the Garden's of Pleasure, the party meets the Gardens' front desk manager Sarah Singe, a fire [[Genasi]] woman and bound servant of the gardens' proprietor, [[Dalia Embervale]]. Sarah reveals that for the Gardens, tickets aren't what gets you in, but instead they let you get out, else you are trapped in the gardens forever. The party takes a long deserved rest enjoying their first night in Dis relaxing in the Gardens. For her protection, the party chooses to teleport Bella Dawn back to [[Mt. Celestia]].

			During their time in the gardens, the members of the party each have very interesting encounters. Balaam encounters Onath and [[Greela Venomseer\|Greela]] and [[Onath Venomseer\|Onath]], the Venomseer twins, two adult [[Black Dragon\|Black Dragons]] in humanoid form and both serving as heralds of the [[Red Dragon]] [[Barroth]]. They inform Barroth that they are in Dis to speak with the Archduke of Dis, [[Dispater]] on their lord's behalf.

			Nyrgoth during his time in the gardens meets a pair of giants bearing the symbol of the Shattered Mountain, the same symbol worn by the Hill Giant Angrboda that the party met in Duumal. The pair was made up of a Cloud Giant named Stratia
