But as the the second Realm War began, conflict between the cities of [[Dolmvay]] and [[Elin Barad]] cut off the clan's trade routes and food access, causing a famine for the dwarves in the region. With no other option, the dwarves of the Steelhand Clan joined in the war.

			As the war continued, the people of Osugbo began to be threatened on a new front, from a terrifying plague that mutated those infected into terrible monsters, [[The Worldbreaker Plague\|the World Breaker Plague]]. As the World Breaker Plague spread across Osugbo and the second Realm War continued to rage across Quelmar, the Steelhand Clan had no choice but to return to the long abandoned ruins of Steelhand Hall and shut the doors behind them in 883 PR.
