Kavanmort would be rrediscovered when the Tempest Brothers Expeditionary Company uncovered the lost mind flayer ship and would awaken once more when the ship was activated by the rogue Mind Flayer [Myxlixinal]]. Before Kavanmort could return to Amusa, the company managed to overload the ship's planar engine and destroy Kavanmort by sending him through an unstable planar rift. Kavanmort was sent by Tiamat to conquer and destroy the continent of [[Amusa]], alongside the dragons [[Old Alkinimic]], [[Xevriss]], and [[Xupaynth]]. During this time Kavanmort would establish many temples to himself, with many dragon worshiping cultists viewing him as a dragon demi-god. Kavanmort would later return to Amusa at the start of [[The War of Many Names]], hoping to finish his continental conquest.
